With consideration of the above mentioned target, beneficiaries of our council decided to provide vocational training and manage seed- money Rs 75000 for each group for them to generate their income and maintain livelihood. For this purpose with the financial help of Canadian Cooperation Office kathmandu (Canadian Government) , six Community User Groups (each containing 30 men and women X6 groups=person total 180 Persons) were formed in ward no 8, 15 and 17 of Dharan Municipality. To run this project, Canadian Cooperation Office kathmandu (Canadian Government) had sanctioned Rs.1778565/- in 2002/2003 and these six community groups are mobilizing the seed - money with low interest rate for generating income activities. This council successfully completed this project and wants to expand it in other remaining sixteen Wards of Dharan Municipality.
